This smallholder coffee is cultivated in gardens under the canopy of
manicured forests. Sustainable agriculture has been practiced in these
mountains long before coffee was first introduced in the 1950s. New
Guinea coffees have that rainforest quality. Earthy and spicy with an
aroma reminiscent of teak. This bright, full-bodied coffee has a long
finish with a sweet spicy aftertaste. It combines the earthiness of the
famous Sumatran coffees while displaying the clean finish of a Central
American coffee.
